Air Arms Air Arms S510 Core

Great rifle, they need to put out a bottle version.
That would be interesting. I think AA leans heavily into the aesthetics of their guns, and bottles don't fit that aesthetic.

I also don't care for the fill "banjo", but it does work well. It's cheap and easy to change to a Foster, but I haven't (yet) on my nearly 20 year old walnut 410SL. It's also harder to lose(or grab the wrong one) than a probe.

I also like the shrouded barrel more than the pickle.

It looks like this gun is just another variation of the 510, which is not a bad thing. It could be a more affordable option, also including 3 magazines, and regulated.

With all that said, nothing is nicer than an Air Arms gun. Fit and finish, and quality level is off the charts. When I get mine out, I spend a minute just looking at it, and it shoots just as good as it looks.

I am with you on the aesthetics, love traditional rifles, but they do not have to drop the 510 to put out something new. They have aready done many versions of the 410-510. I am a fan of the fit and finish on all the AA guns. Own a few.

Seeing as I wanted the s410 carbine soelly for its size, and they basically made that now with the side lever and regulator, I see this as a win.

If the moderator works good, that's cool. It flows with the gun. It's longer in pics than the camera angles they do though.

OAL?

What's the price going to be though? $2000+? That's the problem. It's basically a rehash of 2 previous models and they still expect an arm and a leg for one.

I don't have any bottle guns , never will . Matter of fact i have decided not to buy a RAW pistol because of the bottle .
Wonder if one can be built with a tube ? Now that would be a good looking gun !
If the bottle is m18x1.5 thread, you can get 300 bar tubes that have that thread.

Where did you come up with $2000+?

After the XTi-50 I figured their next model would update the milling on the action a bit. It just looks dated at this point. At the very least, they could've found areas to shave off some weight. My S510 shoots well, but it's heavy.
ever think it shoots well because it is heavy ?

I get it, bottles are not the nicest looking guns, but as of now with the tech available to us it is the only way to get high shot count or high power and decent shot count. It might not be a concern for those who shoot from a table with an air source nearby. When they come up with the 7000-10.000 psi version and compressor we can meet both shot and keep small tubes. For now now tanks are the only solution. Its time for something really new. They could at least put out something with 300 bar fill. I own AA300-400 and 500 series. Im not power hungry at all- shot count is what I care about. Btw- best looking gun FX put out was the Taurantula. Google pics of the old AA XM100, another classic. Added a pic below.
