Air Arms S510 TC - MONSTER SHOT COUNT Hunting Airgun - Airgun Review

I’ve been wanting to review this gun for a VERY LONG time. This is the Air Arms S510 TC. The TC stands for “twin cylinder” and the big take away from the name is that is has TWO air cylinders delivering a TON of shots. The rest of the TC platform is identical to other S510 Variants such as variable power, liquid smooth side lever cocking, Lothar Walther barrel, match grade trigger, and the list goes on. We’ve got more on this gun coming up on AirgunWebTV, but this should give you a little taste of what a great rifle this is!

Man it’s a great time to be an airgunner!!!

Cons:

Weighs in on the heavy side when scoped (9.3#). A tad loud (I added a moderator purchased from Neil Claque [sp?], this brought the overall length of the rifle to approximately 48 inches. I removed the moderator and never replaced it. Awkward/unusual fill port.

Max.: 38 fpe (.25 cal)

I have a single shot S500. I've installed a regulator and made other adjustments to tune the gun. There is a new model available this year that adds a factory regulator to the S510. https://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Air_Arms_S510_XS_Ultimate_Sporter_Air_Rifle_Laminate_Stock/4626 I'm still not sold on AA regulators as I had to replace one in an FTP 900 recently but it is still too soon to tell how well they will work in the S models.

As for report without the shroud It's not any worse than a framing gun. With the shroud and baffles it's very backyard friendly even at 25fpe.
