I do not use one. If you want an adjustable hamster it will cost extra. Never had a use for one.

The extra fore stock height in front of the trigger guard is good enough for me when resting the rifle on my knee. It is also good enough for kneeling and standing shots.

thks for the recomendation. You are very helpfull, I saw your profile picture and your standing position is with out hamster as well (with other stock).

I shoot hunter class with a Maccari stock and believe that it is a big advantage. As wildcj5 states there is one very similar from Custom stocks UK. I know of a shooter that has one of their 800, I believe, from them and did not believe it was worth it. But I would not trade my for anything.
