Air Arms would like to know - Do you remember your first air rifle?

My first gun was a Daisy 1894, lever action, in 1965. 👍
Same, except I got mine around 1980.

Everyone else had a red Ryder. I shot it until the bb's barely made it out of the barrel. I never considered repairing it. Grandpa gave me a nice garage sale red Ryder with a $2 or $3 price tag written on tape still on it, and I was back in the game

My first air rifle is a 1934 Buck Jones. I had this since I was 8 or younger but I lost the shot tube. So it just was kept on the gun rack as a decoration piece really. I shot my 1894 all the time.
But here is the first air gun I ever hade completely functional and shooting well with all original parts except a shot tune I finally found after years of hunting.

I broke the cocking lever off mine, and still shot it that way.

Benjamin 600 Automatic….was at my Grandparents farm in my Dad’s old bedroom. My grandmother said I could have it, if it was ok with my Dad. About 1967-68…still have it, although it doesn’t hold air anymore. If anyone has a lead on someone who might repair it, please let me know. John

That is really cool by the way!

My experience was exactly like the move a Christmas story. After all the presents were opened on Christmas Day. My father said to me. Did you get everything you wanted. I replied yes but I really wanted a BB gun. “Well’” did you look behind thr tree … I see something there. And ther it was. A daisy model 1892 octagon barrel BB gun. I think I was 10 … still have it. And about 30 other Airguns now.

Considering it was 70 years ago, and I was less than two years old, I don't remember it. However, I have irrefutable proof of it in this photo of me and big brother Kim...

Dated 1954!

Air Arms wasn't even a gleam in their daddy's eyes.
