After you get the chassis, you need an ar15 buffer tube and stock, plus a grip. You can spend as little or as much as you want on those. I dont like the location of the bi-pod so i dont use it. Its too far back for my tastes.

So that's around $300 to $400 for everything ?

I've got a complete Bonacci chassis (with all hardware) along with all add on's needed to bolt up and use the rifle. Additions are: buffer tube, locking nut, adjustable buttstock and bipod to fit the chassis. Buffer tube threads are not perfect but it all fits together nicely. Also have printed instructions but you can also find the assembly video online. Looking for $250 shipped to any address in the lower 48 states...View attachment 288250
The original and best! Anthony designed a great tactical kit which the others have tried to copy. AE Swede makes a good 3D printed one also.

Wow! And here I am thinking the Avenger is a good airgun for those who can't afford to spend a lot... (shoulder shrug)

Seems like those who can spend the bucks for custom stocks *might* be happier and CAN AFFORD a gun that comes like what they want originally instead of modding a low cost gun until it costs as much as at least the next tier level. (heavy sigh)

Oh well, to each their own... I guess... (another shoulder shrug and heavy sigh)

I wish I had that kind of money... (smile)

I agreed about spending the coin to mod a basic gun. As good as my Wildcat is/was, it too is far from factory. Today, you can buy one just the way you want. Till an upgrade comes along! I still have the M-rod Barbi-Doll that has been changed every time some one made a new part for it! And it sits in the gun cabinet. Could never sell it. Or the boxes of springs, valves, hammers, stocks, barrels and other mods. Cant forget the transfer ports or packs of o-rings too! In this as a hobby, you’re either in it or your not.

If OP or anyone is still looking for aftermarket tactical stock kits, I did a little review on this other thread for the AE Swede and new Buck-Rail. Same with others, the tacvenger stock kit price kept me away even though the seller seems great.

I agree going with the tactical stock means getting more than just the frame so costs go up, but with this route you can customize like crazy. Whatever AR grip you want with either if you don't like the A2 that comes with Buck-Rail, and if AE Swede version, whatever stock you want. But as you see in the review you would be limited for the Buck Rail version in terms of the stock as its design requires a high/adjustable comb. $65 for BR cause it uses proprietary "buffer tube" you have to use with the frame. Then a stock. Swede uses normal metal MilSpec buffer tube.

In my limited experience (not installed either yet due to power plenum fit), these 3D printed stocks are solid. I wouldn't worry about them breaking. I think Buck Rail even says on his site that if something happens just email and he will work with you.

There is definitely something nice about the grain on a walnut stock on a traditional rifle, but I wanted to customize and turn it into a Lego gun. Swap this, swap that, etc. Can't really do that with a hunk of dead tree.

It's awesome what can be done with the Avenger! Really glad this community is here.

Nothing wrong with people exercising freedom and choice with their own hard earned money. The only thing that matters is they're happy with it.
People pour tens of thousands of dollars into low value cars all the time. It's their hobby, it's not like they're asking for donations.
Why make someone feel bad their work. It's a toy, they bought it to play with.
I'm not giving you a hard time just food for thought.

Yes, I HEAR them all the time...

$500 car with $$$$$$ stereo that has subwoofers that you can actually FEEL from a mile away. I would put a LOL here, but it really doesn't fit. (smile)
