Air efficiency

I would guess if one aimed for the same speed, it teoreticaly would be more efficient to turn in the valve adjuster. Less hammer spring force will make the valve open less, but it will be the same air pressure, and valve spring tension closing it. By turning in valve adjuster the valve both open less, but also close a litle faster, as you will have the extra spring tension while closing it. So if one could measure the milliseconds from the valve opens, till it close, it would probably stay open less time, by increasing valve spring force. A negative effect might be that the gun will vibrate more, and may be less accurate, if one both use unesesarry hammer spring, and valve spring force.
