Other Air Pistol Recommendations

Nothing wrong with a PRod.
Not expensive like your rifles but when it needs service (all PCP pistols and rifles will!), you can do it yourself…
I have had three.
This one is spectacular!

If you've got the money, then get the GK1, and you might want to do it now, given what's going on with tariffs.

The following pistols aren't PCP's, but they're the air pistols I would be shopping for if I didn't already have them...Crosman 600, Crosman Mk1, Webley Tempest, Beeman P17.
The one air pistol I wouldn't buy again is the Beeman P1/HW45. It's performance is disappointing considering it's price point.

I also wouldn't purchase a Hatsan Jet again, but I regard that as more of a carbine than a pistol, which is something that PCP air pistols seem to inevitably morph into. People want more shots per fill and better consistency, so they opt for larger reservoirs and then find that the gun is too large and awkward to be used as a pistol and they add a folding stock and a scope.

Looks like the Huben GK1 is a little hard to come by. Any stateside sources for them?

These are the two sources I'm aware of, but I have no idea what their current inventories are like.

And get a moderator for it. The Huben moderator is quite good, but without one the GK1 is LOUD.

Crosman 1701P, any high quality 10 meter competition pistol. I have an FWB P8X. Baikal 46M (not a PCP), it is amazing. I would like to try a GK1 but I really don't need that much oomph ;-) All are .177.

I saw the 1701 on amazon as well as some other online sellers. Sometimes Amazon seems dodgy in the airgun scene. Is it worth chasing down the 1701 (with a much more bland grip)?

It's a great pistol. Very accurate with a great trigger. It doesn't come with a rear sight. Many use a red dot or pistol scope to take advantage of that accuracy. I bought mine thinking that it would scratch my itch for a true 10 meter target pistol. I didn't, therefore the others in the photo. So if you have that itch, maybe hold out for a good deal on the real deal (I bought my FWB used). Cheers!
