Air pistol silhouette - Which pistol scope, red dot or reflex sight?

Hey Dave! I like the Milletts also. Although I have never seen the small one you show above, I think it would be a great choice. I have a larger one which is a clone of the UltraDot Matchdot with different dot sizes and intensity settings. It is also out of production, think I paid $70 for it many years ago. Nick

I too would be interested in one of the barrel mounts for the Hammerli. Is it something you make and sell, or did you buy it somewhere?

I bought the Sun Optics IZH barrel scope mount on Amazon three years ago. It is no longer available.

I really like red dot scopes, and my very favorite one isn’t made anymore. It’s the little one in the picture, a Millett red dot and the #2 dot is very small which I like. Plus you can set it on the dimmest setting using the smallest dot and it’s a very fine sight, you can “aim small” with it because you can always see the bull right through the dim tiny red dot. The other one is a Ultra dot and it’s really good too, I got it from gwelo123! Thanks Nick it’s on my HW44 .22 and is a great choice for a red dot in my opinion. I sure wish they still made the tiny Millett though, so light it was almost unnoticeable on a pistol.

I have gone back to using my Millett SP-1 red dot scope on my Hammerli.

I thought I’d update this post. I’ve now switched to using a Hawke CF30 4-16x40 Compact scope on my Brocock. It works a reat with the bonus of being able to adjust the objective lense via a side wheel.
