There are no airguns suited for self defense. Not at any price. Wrong tool for the job.

I'd suggest the .117 caliber Daisy Targeteer to you. Light, handy, powerful, fast-firing, inexpensive, cheap ammo, low maintenance, reliable, easily rebuilt... oh wait, you said AIR pistol. Never mind!

To the OP, we're not about self defense here. Or Offensive action either for that matter. We plink, hunt and compete. I have cousins who were backups to the Olympics in air rifle and rimfire. There are members here that compete heavily in Field Target.

Of course air guns are not practical for this - there is a reason why there are virtually zero airgun homicides and it works both ways, but in a scenario where you forced me to pick a pistol I would least want pointed in my direction, it would be an evanix rex p in .50.

Anything with a Donny Emperor at the end like a night stick. A Baseball bat or golf club (9 IRON) would do too.
