Just back into my wood shop after knee replacement 7 weeks ago. This is the first Air Rifle Tote I've made post surgery.
Wood is insanely figured Ambrosia Maple with red cedar accent along bottom and up both ends. This tote will hold two rifles or one rifle and shooting sticks. Holding "u"s are leather lined to protect your equipment. Poly 1/2" rope for handles. These wood choices are for aesthetics and light carry. Dimensions are 22" long, 8" tall x 9" wide. Very stable. The rifle "U"s are 63 MM (2.5") in diameter for standard 480 bottle. Unit weighs 9 pounds (example: if made of oak it would weigh 14 pounds).
No metal is in this build. Joints are dowel and waterproof wood glue.
$150 + $20 for shipping.
