I guess the big question is, is the tank ok to fill with the gauge slightly damaged? I may try to have it filled tomorrow.... they may refuse. Just want to know so I don’t look like an a** when I get to the store.

Can't speak for the folks filling but you'll probably look like a butthead. Is it safe to fill? Yeah probably, but someone is going to shirk away from it because of the liability of a clearly damaged tank. Probably not worth the time honestly for the trip.

Are you SURE about the tank being supposedly shipped FULL? Far as I know HP tanks are supposed to be empty before being shipped.

Gerry52, that is what I was told. I didn’t think it was a good idea, and maybe that’s why it wasn’t filled, but I was told it would come filled.
