Air Venturi 90 cubic inch problem.

When I crack the valve to fill my gun, it spews air out from around the threads of the valve. What's up? O-ring maybe?

I hade to replace my female fittings on my Venturi tank, I had a spare hose that I took them off,,,
The Venturi tank fittings looked the same but did not fit the male fittings with a snug fit...
Just something was off a little.
