Air Venturi Avenger air reservoir.

I got a 500 CC bottle that will take 4500psi. I use it to recharge my Avenger. I have been totally surprised that it has held 4000psi on the gage for the last 3 weeks! Got it off Amazon for $108 complete. Saw a pic of the bottle cut in half lengthwise. The wall thickness is between 3/8-1/2" It is supposed to be good to 6500 PSI and I believe it. My compressor will get it to just above 4300psi (300 bar) before it shuts off. I can get about 3 fills above 3000 psi with it fully charged. Regular on the gun currently set at 2800psi.

Looks like you've got the same air pump as I do. Vevor?

As we know, the Avenger is equipped with a long and a short reservoir. Just wondering if anyone has removed the short one ane replaced it with another long one?
O. B. Hello , I've done just that . I have two Avengers , an original that started out w/ its plastic stock that I replaced w/ a wood stock and a bull pup. I have since put a bottle kit on the original . I then replaced the short tube on the b-pup w/ the long tube from Av #1. This required opening up the stock for clearance of course. I found NO benefit to it! I seemed to use more air at each shot ( call me crazy ) ! I could see the gauge move after a few shots (as in 3) . I switched it back to original short & long & it settled back down . And yes I had tested for leaks after both configurations by topping off to 4300 psi & letting the gun set for 24 hr.s each . NO leaks upon standing on the bench each time . Makes no sense but YMMD !
