As we know, the Avenger is equipped with a long and a short reservoir. Just wondering if anyone has removed the short one ane replaced it with another long one?
I can use either one now but with suppressor on it’s easy to use my fat air filter on the bottom one without having interference with my suppressor attachedWhich tube do you use to fill the rifle, or do you fill both tubes?
Are you talking about the plenum after the air chamberAs we know, the Avenger is equipped with a long and a short reservoir. Just wondering if anyone has removed the short one ane replaced it with another long one?
So, how has it affected your shot count? My 22 is a bottle gun. I threw the long tube onto my 177.View attachment 346318View attachment 346319
No, there's the long reservoir you can see, and a short one under it inside the forend. Some people have replaced the short one with another long one to increase air capacity. Are you talking about the plenum after the air chamber
Old B. Just read your ? My Spritech filled old "Double Tube "from 0 to 4350 in about 18 min.s I usually go halfway through the green on all my guns then top off ( just like my gas in the truck ).It probably takes a while with one pump, right?
With the stock tubes i got 44 shots from 4000-2000 WITH the 10cc plenum. With double long tubes WITH plenum i get 64 shots from 4000-2000. 45% increase in shot count basically. Without plenum shot count goes up slightly, not by much thoSo, how has it affected your shot count?
Not topic related but it's good to know that another OldBamaDude is in this group and owns an Avenger. This OldBamaDude hopes to jump feet first into the PCP world when the Avenge-X comes out. In the mean time I've been looking at most everything that I can find on the Avenger, thinking that the Avenge-X will be so closely related that a lot of tuning, pellet selections, and more could cross between the two models. No, there's the long reservoir you can see, and a short one under it inside the forend. IR, I see you're a little north of Birmingham, I'm down in LA (lower Alabama) Mobile area. Not topic related but it's good to know that another OldBamaDude is in this group and owns an Avenger. North of B'ham and chomping at the bit to jump feet first into the PCP scene. I'm waiting on the Avenge-X series to come out. I'm working on trying to get an industrial SCBA filling station so I won't have to worry about fill times or even filling tanks. If that deal comes through I could possibly have a darn good air supply on the cheap. That would make affording a few PCP rifles and tanks much more affordable.IR, I see you're a little north of Birmingham, I'm down in LA (lower Alabama) Mobile area.
That would probably sell like "hot cakes" ( now you know how old I am !) here in the states,Reviving old thread because I have original Avenger that I bottle swapped and have the long / short tubes sitting around.
I am very interested in putting the long tube on an Avenger Bullpup II but havent purchased yet. I've been googling around and stumbled upon this:

It is an Avenger Bullpup II but in OD green and already has the long tube installed from the factory!! What a joke, Air Venturi USA! We would totally buy that exact set up here. Love that 2 tone color, and it claims to be 280CC b/c the 2 long tubes.
I watched the video (no clue what he says but every 5th word is English and unfortunately my closed captioning didn't work..) Anyway it looks like over seas they get a complete setup with the 2 long tubes and an LDC included with their Behemoth.
Anyone think that the 280CC claim is accurate? If normal is 180 then 280 CC is 1.55 x the capacity and that'd be a great upgrade since it seems putting a bottle on a bullpup is difficult anymore, plus I already have the extra long tube in my box.
Just thought I'd share this link / video cause I think you guys would like to see a "factory 2 long tuber".
So, those who did the bullpup two long tube mod. What did you use to get the tube to fit? Was it just an Xacto knife or was it a plug you remove? From the video it seems like there was a plug on the old style bullpup but idk I don't have the Bullpup II yet.
Anyone else wanna chime in with their numbers? How many more shots/fill do you get by going to 2 long tubes?
I say it a lot about how you notice what the rest of the world can get vs what your offered here ? You just get what they give you and you just like it ( at inflated markup pricing ).That would probably sell like "hot cakes" ( now you know how old I am !) here in the states,
My guess is that in US we can get powder burners much easier than other countries so manufacturers don't try as much here.I say it a lot about how you notice what the rest of the world can get vs what your offered here ? I just commented on a hatsan that here you stuck pretty much with that chezzy qe or shrouded soda straw barrel ( well near any brand here now ) but over seas the same gun is offered with a real traditional barrel.
USA .. we got it sooo good ..
I guess your saying that means our money's no good and not worth the effort? ..hmmm..I

But as stated above, we definitely would have some interest in a cool OD green , 2 tube Avenger bullpup! Not sure how companies decide what features we get here because it can't be that tough to just make a "global model" and sell everywhere the same. I prefer PSI but could use a converter if they sold with Bar gauges or whatever. Barrel changes is also odd. If it works well, use that one not the pencil barrel.
So anyone have some more numbers for increase shot count using the 2 long tubes?
