As we know, the Avenger is equipped with a long and a short reservoir. Just wondering if anyone has removed the short one ane replaced it with another long one?
I can use either one now but with suppressor on it’s easy to use my fat air filter on the bottom one without having interference with my suppressor attachedWhich tube do you use to fill the rifle, or do you fill both tubes?
Are you talking about the plenum after the air chamberAs we know, the Avenger is equipped with a long and a short reservoir. Just wondering if anyone has removed the short one ane replaced it with another long one?
So, how has it affected your shot count? My 22 is a bottle gun. I threw the long tube onto my 177.View attachment 346318View attachment 346319
No, there's the long reservoir you can see, and a short one under it inside the forend. Some people have replaced the short one with another long one to increase air capacity. Are you talking about the plenum after the air chamber
Old B. Just read your ? My Spritech filled old "Double Tube "from 0 to 4350 in about 18 min.s I usually go halfway through the green on all my guns then top off ( just like my gas in the truck ).It probably takes a while with one pump, right?
With the stock tubes i got 44 shots from 4000-2000 WITH the 10cc plenum. With double long tubes WITH plenum i get 64 shots from 4000-2000. 45% increase in shot count basically. Without plenum shot count goes up slightly, not by much thoSo, how has it affected your shot count?
Not topic related but it's good to know that another OldBamaDude is in this group and owns an Avenger. This OldBamaDude hopes to jump feet first into the PCP world when the Avenge-X comes out. In the mean time I've been looking at most everything that I can find on the Avenger, thinking that the Avenge-X will be so closely related that a lot of tuning, pellet selections, and more could cross between the two models. No, there's the long reservoir you can see, and a short one under it inside the forend. IR, I see you're a little north of Birmingham, I'm down in LA (lower Alabama) Mobile area. Not topic related but it's good to know that another OldBamaDude is in this group and owns an Avenger. North of B'ham and chomping at the bit to jump feet first into the PCP scene. I'm waiting on the Avenge-X series to come out. I'm working on trying to get an industrial SCBA filling station so I won't have to worry about fill times or even filling tanks. If that deal comes through I could possibly have a darn good air supply on the cheap. That would make affording a few PCP rifles and tanks much more affordable.IR, I see you're a little north of Birmingham, I'm down in LA (lower Alabama) Mobile area.
