Air Venturi Air Venturi Avenger x Tactical comparisons

To those of you with Avenge X, is a moderator nessessary or are quite enough with the shrouded barrel.
Definitely want to have a moderator, it's got a bark and makes my ears ring sometimes when in a small room. Huggett, Huma, STO, Weihrauch if you can find it are some of best in the biz for moderators. 5 inch moderators tend to be the sweet spot for most suppression volume to noise ratio.

I find the shrouded barrel adequate for noise suppression on my .22.
At one point I had a Tanto on it, but didn’t really need it so it was removed.
I shoot literally daily in my backyard……never a complaint.

If you use to shot yout Avenge-X in your backyard and live in a very quiet neighborhood like mine, definitely you will need a good moderator. I am using the Huggett snipe standard in my four Avengers because it’s the one that has giving me the best results. For comparison purposes from left to right are the Hugget snipe, the 3D printed Buck-Rail, the DannyFL Sumo and FX moderators. I took this video yesterday while shooting in my backyard, check how quiet is my Avenge-X .25 cal with the Hugget snipe moderator. All the shots were passing just one or two feet’s above the heads of a bunch of chickens, however they didn’t even noticed because how quiet my airguns are.

This is my new toy, I shot about 600 pellets through it already and really like it; tight groups at 35yards and a pleasure to operate. I ended up buying the VEVO compressor off of Amazon with the 2 year extended warranty, if it breaks they can send me another one.

Not to rain on your parade, I too bought a Vevo with Asurion 3-year warranty from Bezos, it broke after 11 months with maybe 20 hours total runtime. What I got was a refund of the purchase price from Asurion (but not the price of the warranty). So I got back $211 (of about $250 in total spent) and got the GX Mini. And if that breaks it'll be the Kong Feng (or whatever it's called). I'll add, I didn't use Amazon's CS to contact Vevo, they may have sent a replacement, I don't know, but there was no option to make such contact.

The Vevo runs fine it just won't make pressure, keeps bursting disks, I even put a dead head adapter in the burst housing, but no pressure. It runs fine, the motor and piston, but some o-rings or something are bad. I don't feel like messing with it. in a while I'll put it in the classifieds (I'm a newbie), pickup only (I'm in far NW Illinois) for $25, a great deal for someone who knows how to fix them.
