Ordered 8/7...was the wait worth it?
Yes! I'm happy to announce the gun lives up to expectations. Didn't shoot it at stock setting. Cleaned and de-gassed the thing right off. Hand pumped to 4500 psi "it can be done" but took about 400 strokes from zero. Sounds worse than it was. Just pump it 25 strokes at a time. I Set the hammer tension at 1 1/2 turns out to start shooting cheap Crossman 14.3 with reg at 1400. This gun is powerful! 988 fps ave to start! Had to turn hammer down to 1/4 turn to get 880 fps which was dead accurate with the cheap ammo. The crossman 14.3 loved this setting with max shot count 100+. JSB 15.89s looked good with same reg setting 1 turn out. JSB 18.13 loved the 1 1/2 turns out setting. All with the lowest reg setting in the green. So far, only the FX hybrid slugs seem to need a higher reg setting. Shot only one at 666 fps. Ill play with those when I'm no longer hand pumping. For now shot count is king. Thus the 14.3s and min settings.
