Air Venturi RovAir

So last summer, I purchased an Air Venturi RovAir compressor for my PCP. It probably has about 40 hours of run time on it and it croaked. I took it apart and found some metal grit in the cylinder. The rings still looked in good shape. I cleaned it all out and re-lubed everything. I put it all back together and plugged it in. It ran nice and smooth until it hit about 1000 psi and then it slowed down and kicked the relay off on it. I tried it a few times and will not het passed 1000 psi. Do you think it is the motor going bad or something else?

Did you try contacting air Venturi or the distributor you purchased from? I purchased the rovair recently and am curious about parts availability for rebuilding. No information available on maintenance or occasional cleaning.

Boomerangs, Any updates with getting in contact with Venturi? I’m interested in this model and hoping for good news.

I’m looking to buy from Utah Air Guns, seems like they have good return policies.

Thanks
Why not spend slightly more and get a water-cooled, low speed GX-CS4-I that will last you longer? Buy once, cry once. It's better than throwing money away.
