Air Venturi Wingman 74 Aftermarket Valve

I bought an AV Wingman 74 during the Christmas sales and I have been using the tank for filling my air guns. I feel the tank is a value for what I paid for it but I want to see if there are better aftermarket valve options?

I'm looking for something with a larger more legible gauge and a better valve knob. I see there is a Saber Tactical and the JB TJ3 option available.

Anyone use the above mentioned options with a Wingman or similar SCBA tank? Did you have any issues or are you aware of other better options (other brands) that are available?

I’ve been using the saber Tactical valves for a bit now, nice large gauge and knobs, and a handle at the top. The only downside is no bottle pressure gauge, you need to dead head the fill hose for tank pressure. There is a blank male foster on the valve for dead heading.

I have been looking for a fix for the same issues. Knob gets tight when trying to slowly get more pressure in the gun. I have even looked to see if there is a larger replacement knob to make it a little easier and safer to slowly open the valve under pressure.

Question- does the AV-74 Wingman actually use the 7/8 UNF thread?
