JTS Airacuda Max .30 not Filling

I just purchased a used Airacuda Max in .30 but the rifle is not filling.

I have tried filling from a high-pressure tank and directly from a compressor from multiple different female quick disconnects (which all function on other rifles I have). I did notice that the foster quick disconnect on the Airacuda doesn't go on quite as easily as my other rifles. It does seal (no leaks when I open the tank valve from the air source) but I do not hear any air filling the rifle and the gauges don't move (they are showing close to empty).

Is there a valve or something else I'm missing?

No air going into airgun sounds like plugged male foster. 45Bravo has Airacuda repair videos on YouTube, check them out for how to take apart foster fitting to inspect/repair. WM

The valve inside the nipple on your gun may be sticking. Degas and remove it, lube her up!

Yes that foster has a small screw with an O ring. If the screw is too tight it smashes the O ring and it won’t take air. If you unscrew the assy from the end of the air tube with the foster still attached, you’ll see the very small screw. Back it out very slightly. It may take several tries to get it right. Of course degass the rifle before unscrewing the end of the tube.
