Airacuda updates.

So what distance was it shot at? 30 yds (like you are implying by responding to the 30yd challenge)? Or 10m as Nervous is saying? Or did you shoot it at 50yds? Inquiring minds want to know......I mean if it's 50 then that looks really good. If it's 30 then I;d say "so-so" and would need to see 50yds groups to confirm. But if it's at 10m, well why even bother? I mean my P17 puts them in a single hole at 10m.

Take a break from the beat down guys, it's 10m, just threw it out there cuz I had it.

No fraudulent intentions.

Beatdown? LOL

You quote this -

"For new Airacuda owners, it would be great if you could shoot a 30-yard challenge target and post a score. These rifles seem to have a high potential for accuracy, given the low price point.
Here is the 30-Yard Challenge thread:
https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/30-yard-challenge.1214772/

and then say "Here ya' go" and post the target.

Based on the above, reasonable person would conclude that the target was shot at 30yds, would they not?

Like I said give it a break, no intentions of harm. Go eat a Snickers...

Woth anything a giy got to expect growing pains and/ or tlc work to get it where he wants it. I never had perfict out of the box anyway. + Its fresh new telease product , so. For it's money oy still looks a deal to me .. saddly no iron sight option so im pretty much out anyway..

Good luck and enjoy. ( Well i know you are ..😉)

Sorry guys, it's 20°F out there and snowing so no 30y targets until spring. I can see if I can squeeze 60 feet out of my indoor range to give you all a little better idea of accuracy.

I think it's a great gun but I am so tired of sunshine being blown up my backside type reviews that I just can't hold back the challenges you could encounter.

I'll post nice pictures when I publish the review over here as well, I'm working on that now.

I did put it in the stock, adjusted the screw, adjusted the scope and got this traget:

HEAR YE, HEAR YE, I am set up for my winter range at 10m. ALL of my targets will from here on, until the Good Lord smiles once more upon us and grants warmer weather, will be at 10m, no matter what is printed on said target.

SHEESH!!!!
Yes sarcasm, instead of being straight forward? Who exactly is listening to your HEAR YE’s? Just be clear, not sarcastic, so unnecessary.. your post on the gun and what it can do? Interesting. Your lack of information and sarcasm, not at all.

Back to the Airacuda Max in .22:

I found that the hammer was severely over sprung and backed it out until the cap was flush with the tube. This is accomplished by loosening the grub on the left side of the tube then using a large flat blade, turn the cap in or out, depending on your desired preload.

I ended up at 850 FPE with CPHP's and increased my shot count from 40 to 60 shots per fill.
