Airacuda updates.

I’ve been on this one year Airacuda soap opera with the rest of you. Read eagerly, watched all the tester videos and was very encouraged. Placed order for both the Max & Standard with PA, wait, wait, wait then cancel. In stock , order a Max, comes in with the regulator gauge cross threaded and the stock bolt just started and the gauge hard against the hole in the stock. See talk of needing a bedding block to make the fitment of the action and stock correct, boy I am done. I wish Travis and JTS the best and hope these rifles become everything We hope they can be. Sent my Max back to PA yesterday, no .25 cal in stock and I am not getting back on that merry go round so refund.

Today I got out my DAR Gen 2 in .22 , it has been a little while, but MAN it’s just right. I did have some minor problems with the DAR Gen 2 but got it just right . I’d buy another in .25 if they had them . I am old and skeptical and won’t trust the DAR Gen 3. Update , my Wife and I are getting on the the other side of Covid now, getting better at least done with the experimental approved for emergency medicine. Thank God.
I recently bought a Origin in .25(I’ve had a .22 for a couple of year now) and it is just fine for serious pesting , love it. Down the road the Origins may be difficult to maintain, we will see. For now I love my Origins.

Can somebody help me? I have a Aircuda Max .25. My stock is loose. I do not want to tighten down on something that shouldn’t be tighten down. Can someone tell me where the mounts are so I can secure this to be tighter?
I put 2 O-rings on the screw before putting it back on the stock as spacers,.....works very well.

Posted by : airacuda "Not all guns have this issue. The ones that do will receive the update and those out there with issue can request the kit." So perhaps contact JTS for said "kit" and I would think directions/info for install.

I plan to use a " BUCK-RAIL MODERATOR ", but I'll need to order an " ADAPTER " ( DONNYFL ? ).

There was Air Pressure inside.. I Dry-Fired it a few times @ the lowest setting.

I'll fill it up with compressed Air & let it set for a few days, toooo check for possible leaks..?

P.S.:

I'm really pleased with the overall look & it handles very well,.. very comparable to my .22 Lr Rifles...(y)

I just contacted " DONNYFL " to request an " ADAPTER " for my Airacuda .25 cal Standard ".

I'm now waiting for a response...

Perro,
Consider the $33 Buck Rail 1/2-20 UNF Suppressor (SKU: 018-02) mentioned on Air Gun Detectives Airacuda video. Free shipping, no tax, works and looks great. WM

Thanks for the info..But, I already have in hand, the " Buck-Rail Moderator; 30 cal " model.

FOR THE RECORD:

My private Shooing club's " Board Members " were conducting a meeting on the Range on Saturday. I decided to get their permission before showing up with a " Airgun Moderator " for my new " Airacuda .25 cal Standard Rifle " & have someone complain...
:o
:o

I advised them that the " BUCK - RAIL Moderator " was a " Plastic / Polymer- Air Rifle Moderator ".

All the Board Members present, thanked me for bringing up the " Topic " for their review.

After a brief discussion, it was unanimously agreed. They didn't have any "Legal " issues with any " AIR POWERED ONLY MODERATORS " on the Range....

If you have a square inletted stock like below, the insert is the only way you can support the airtube, O-rings will not overcome the gap.

Thank you fire walker I am going to take a look at this after work today. Still waiting to hear from Travis to see what’s the next step that I need to go in. Gun shoots and operates very well other than this.

The Buckrail made a significant difference on my .22 Origin tuned to 27 FPE and .25 Origin tuned to 50 FPE. No experience with high end moderators but no Buckrail LOUD with Buckrail much quieter. Now, the Origin model is a long one piece moderator with internal and external baffles.View attachment 308868
Just to make it crystal clear I can order this moderator as is and it will thread right onto a Airacuda .25 correct?

No. it will thread into the shroud of Umarex Origins and Avengers. It is said that Evanix has the same shroud threads as the Airacuda and I am not sure if Buckrail makes one for Evanix shrouds. Sorry for the confusion.

UPDATE:

I just received & responded back to " DonnyFL ([email protected]) ", with photos.

QUOTE:
" Hello

The production models will be threaded and ready to go. do you have a picture of the barrel shroud? I will tell you if it is threade

."

HMMMMM, I had already included a copy of the " YOU-TUBE REVIEW ", with my contact info, which was conducted by " IZZY " ( DONNYFL ).

" IZZY " stated in the YouTube review, that he had all of the dimensions of an " ADAPTER " to fit an " AIRACUDA STANDARD " on file.

Hopefully, my request will go smoothly from this point on ...?

I just checked their website & the production model " AIRACUDA ADAPTER ", has not been listed on the DonnyFL Website.

Remember that the shroud thread is the same as Evanix guns, so if you can find an LDC made for Evanix rifles that screws directly into the shroud you will be golden.
