FX Airarms Hunting South Africa gives us a look at the new FX Pistol

Reximex has already had this “new concept” available for a while…

The RP comes with the quick detachable stock - actually a faster quick detach system than this upcoming FX . It even comes in colors - black or bronze.

The RPA is the same pistol without the quick detach, but has beautiful walnut and laminate grips to choose from.

The Reximex RP is in the $400 to $450 price range. For that price you can get the RP and add an RPA fancy grip for when you want to dress it up !

Oh come on now pistols don't have enough power to be useful . I am sure most people have heard of the Huben GKl ....
I would love to see the S/A boys go hunting with 3 or four 22 caliber GKl s , I know Matt would have a few extra words to bleep out.
I really like watching the videos , but they are FX boys and I understand that,,

I personally really enjoy airgun pistols and have a significant collection of vintage and current. I've owned FX's previous pistol, the Ranchero, which was an excellent pistol. I have no doubt that this will be an excellent pistol as well.

I will be curious to see power specs as I have a feeling they are going to be on the quite high-ish side. Power plenum in the grip - that's gotta have a reason for being there. One thing I don't get is the adjustable valve - seems unnecessarily overly complicated on a pistol.

Couple of other issues for me. Look at the top down view - this is a wide girl - she got some beefy hips. Other one - the cocking lever and mechanism are really big - like I get the feeling 1/3 of the width of the pistol is just cocking mech.

Either way - minor complaints. If the specs are good I might give it a try.
