I thought general discussion was good. They can delete it if they wanna.@Ricochet How tough is it to remove the bolts from that block? Also consider asking a moderator to move your thread to this forum https://www.airgunnation.com/forums/big-bores-arrow-shooters.818788/
450 is very good for an air bow. I wish they allowed air bow hunting of whitetail in crossbow season in my state.Around 450 fps, got 10 good shots on a fill Its pretty loud… Had it for a long time, got it on a trade and dont get it out very often. Decided to shoot it today for fun.
Not sure of brand. It’s called “The Block” i got it about 10-12 years ago, it was rated for use with crossbows. If i shoot a broadhead at it, i would hope it would come out the other side, then id just unscrew the broadhead. If it didnt, the blades are sharp on both sides, so id figure they'd cut coming out.@Ricochet I’m curious about how to remove broadheads from those type of blocks. I’ve read of archers using tools to remove them and using lube on bolt shafts for various reasons. What brand is your target?
good question... it is very loud... i dont see a way other than to use less air, but that'll mean slower velocity. It would be interesting to reduce HST untill it quietened down, and then see how fast it was running. Is there any way to quiet these guns down? Or "it is what it is"?
