Airforce airguns

I have 3 .. 2 of them easy are 2k buids only for heavy bullet shooting .. I was going to sell the third..but keep it for 2 reasons one a spare frame just in case something in the other 2 frames fail .. or I'm hit with a other 5 category hurricane like Maria n we were almost 6 months without power..there a low fill gun 3000psi comes very handy... other than that .. I really don't know why someone would choose to buy a small caliber airforce..over a regulated gun .. Gaunlets are putting great smack down regulated power n still cheaper than a single shot airforce..that fastly becomes a money pit that almost no body wants unless you sell it will all the gismos you purchase for $400 or less.. don't get me wrong i just paid for another 2 mandrels to make 2 new barrels for my airforce i have 4 barrels on the works that is $1000 only in tooling..+ whatever the barrels costs + the machining costs..is that the truth is they are better guns for your money.

Nice! I love my airforce guns. I have three (plus almost enough parts to build a couple more)

They originated as a .177 talon ss, .25 talon P, and the third i built into a condor frame i got from airforce.

The smallest has an 18” .25 AF barrel but heavier hammer and spring and will one day have a Doug Noble valve (waiting on an order that is close to complete). I have iron sights on this and it is a great plinker. This has a 3000 psi bottle and polished / ported TT valve. This shoots 66-85 fpe.

My mid size has a .250 TJ barrel, 24” length, Doug noble hammer, valve. I case my own .25 slugs and needed a gun to shoot what I cast. I have a 4500 psi bottle but don’t fill past 3900 or so. This shoots 100+ fpe

My larger gun is like above but a 27” .257 barrel and easily hits 160 fpe

I had some extra time on my hands during the pandemic shut downs and I went a little bit over the top I guess. I don’t care about recouping any money it is the whole process and hobby that I enjoy, I am not investing.

All three have homemade extended shroud/ldc add-ons that i cobbled together from an aluminum tube and 3d printed baffles, they work very well to control sound and so far hold up to the power levels well enough

The gun where I think I’d like a little more leverage like a side lever is the .257 - I ended up having to print an oversized handle because my thumb gets tired after a while.

On the others the forward cocking bolt is smooth like butter thanks to Doug’s parts and i like that AF keeps it simple as much as possible. I feel like that is their niche.

Yeah for sure, when I had my .25 Airforce I hated that system because it doesn't actually lock the breach like the sidelever of the Texans do, also hate the original grip of Airforce guns, big improvement with the latest unit and the AR grip.

That's a very nice collection, Thanks for sharing.

My spare frame assembled..short gun old talon ss using 18" condor barrels n valve in .22 - .25 ... the other is my long frame condor ss awaiting the new 33" barrels . Both of the big tank guns have Doug valves without them there is simply no point..is the only way to make big n reliable power..View attachment 274080View attachment 274119
Nice - can you tell me a little about what you have going on with the larger CF bottle - looks like you added a part to push it back clear of the frame - any info on parts to do this? you could put a 1L paintball tank on there with that neck. Or is that already a full liter?

That is a bottle drop from pcp tunes..they have a condor bottle drop and a texan bottle drop..texan version to low. Condor adapter is the way to go perfect eye placement with medium adjustable rings...the bottle is a 1000cc from them to .with their shoulder rest..

I see you have a carbon fiber tank on that short gun and are using it with condor valves. Are you filling beyond 3000 psi? I have a similar set up in a talon P frame with 18” barrel and condor valve and hp tank, and heavy spring and hammer, but I’m worried about bending or deforming the valve stem so I don’t fill over 3000 and keep the pw dialed down. Eventually this will have a noble valve which I know can handle the higher pressure… just waiting on that part to be complete

That 480cc bottle has the standard condor ss valve . That set up will be a 3000psi only fill .. will a 95gr hammer maybe 3100 but not more than that..

@mercado Where did you find that bipod? If you have a link to a site where they’re sold, do you mind sharing it?
That is a German all metal bipod made for a heavy airsoft gun that looks like a bulldog.. brand is Begadi otto reppa .. as far I know discontinued..when I place that order I asked for 3 they send me 1 ..I have not seen it on stock since.. that was 3 years ago..
