I have a airforce condor .25 it never has been what I would call accurate around a 4 inch group 50 yds. (My Rws springer puts out better groups) anyway the accuracy has been getting worse I bought the ring lock kit with different size holes I’ve tried all of them… I’ve checked all screws o rings took out the moderator nothing seems to help. I’ve cleaned the barrel multiple times thinking something is stuck in it?? It’s lucky to shoot a six inch group at 30 yds now Does anyone work on or tune these guns

4” groups at 50 yards is really excessive. I don’t know how many different pellets you have tested at various speeds - sometimes finding the right pellet & velocity can make a huge difference - but I am not sure you can get from 4” at 50 yards to < 1”, which would be my tolerance level.

Sounds like something is off for sure. I’m no expert, but I have taken apart and reassembled Air Force guns for sure.

What projectiles are you shooting?
Do you have a chronograph? If so what velocities are you getting?
Is this one of the SS models with baffles?
Do you have a moderator on it?

Have you used a chrono? What size pellets or slugs are you using? What did you clean it with? Have you polished it? Any mods done or moderator clipping?
Pellets usually need to be under 950 fps. Slugs can go faster. If it is the factory choked barrel, nsa .250 diameter from 34 grain and up to around 43 grain work well in mine.

Check to make sure the bottle is tight, I mean really tight . Any slop or play will cause erratic shot string . Give the little spanner wrench a work out.

Also these guns are hold sensitive and poi will change if you clutch the gun or apply lateral pressure to the tank.

I have a Condor SS. If the power dial is way up (9-10), light pellets start flying all over the place (they go way too fast). I would lower condor’s power dial setting, use a heavier pellet/slug, and measure the pellet speed. 920 fps (ish) gets me 1” groupings at 35 yards.

Sounds like the rifle is shooting fast. Have you chronographed the shot string yet? They are under $50 on Amazon, pick one up and start there. 900 fps is the speed you want.
