Other AirForce Knockoff First Look + Other Pinty Guns

I want my airguns to be as quiet as possible.
I can still 3D printed better/larger moderators for the 14mm thread, so I can deal with that.

With my airguns I like to have enough magazines for an entire shooting session, and I load them before I start shooting.
I don't think single shot beats that.
I do like single shot, since that's how I started :)

By the way, there are no magazines available.
Are there any compatible magazines?
If not then the single shot may still be the best option.
So, the time you load a magazine doesn't count. While you were preloading your 60 rounds the single shot was shooting pellets.

If anyone is interested in the rifle it is now $259.00 and with code BLACK20 came to $220.48 delivered to my door.
That one appears to be the Defensor QL22 (snowpeak m16 origins)

Why do so many people buy the Airforce clone ?
It looks cool, but:
-it is single shot
-the trigger sucks
-the power adjust may work or not (unclar yet)
-the barrel seems to have a non standard thread (14mm according to a post)
-there is no shroud and the existing moderator is rather small

So, what is the atraction?
It is easy to get it to perform. It has an actual huben reg, the power adjuster does work, and it's $240 or less shipped with the coupon. Plus a lot of us like to tune and tinker.

Yes, it is the Defensor QL22.

Can the moderator be removed on the Airforce clone?
If yes, what is the thread size?
M14x1 yes it unscrews.

Does the bullpup also feature the regulator? I thought that the bullpup was unregulated? While I too would not chase leaks I would give the rifle 3-4 fill cycles before rejecting it. Often the seals settle in...or they don't and you ship it back. So far Pinty has been great handling my shipping damage, hopefully I helped resolve that one. Shipping with the bolt knob in the parts bag is quick easy and cost free. If the bullpup is also regulated, I just may need another "P-Force" :)
Edit: The bullpup is unregulated. Only one gauge, in my least favorite location. It is also unmoderated. Not the Pinty rifle to buy IMHO, tho it does feature a 9 shot magazine and side lever versus bolt. By the time a moderator is added it's about the same overall length as their regulated rifle with moderator. I'm of the opinion the regulated rifle is a steal, the issues are minor and the quality appears high overall.

Just because the bullpup doesn't have a reg gauge doesn't mean its not regulated. Nitro Air guns has the Qm23 bull pup and list is as regulated so it appears it does have a regulator

The bullpup is regulated and has a shroud with 9 baffles.
It is surprisingly quiet.

These are the actual specs for the bullpup (named Defensor QM-23):

I will shoot it longer, maybe it will seal.
I shot it down (30/40 shots), added silicone oil through the fill probe and refilled.
Hopefull it will stop leaking.
