Other AirForce Knockoff First Look + Other Pinty Guns

I know this is one is not talked about yet, but does anyone know if their "long gun" is regulated like the other 2?
I cannot seem to find anything saying it is or is not...

I have the .22 bullpup.
I got my first shot string with CPHP (14.3 grains) in as received settings, hammer adjuster is flush with the end of the receiver.

Shot string with stock settings

Pellet: Crosman Premier Hollow Point 14.3 grains
Pressure (measured on the airgun gauge): 250 bar to 130 bar
Velocity: 893-902 FPS, 90%+ of the shots were at 898-900 FPS, 5-6 shots were outside the 898-900 FPS range
Shots: 58 shots (6 mags x 9 shots + 2 more shots)

Impressions

The regulator works really well.
Great build quality (mostly metal and wood), feels great in hand.
Decent wooden stock, the wood finish could be improved if you have the skills and time.
Surprisingly quiet, has 9 baffles inside the shroud.
The shroud end thread seems to be M27 like the Snowpeak P35, P15, etc.

Comparison to Benjamin Akela

My only other bullpup is a Benjamin Akela.
The Pinty bullpup is very light (5.3 lbs) and very short (27.5" long).
The Akela is way heavier (7.7 lbs) and longer (33" long).
The nicer Akela stock is the main advantage against the Pinty bullpup.
The Pinty bullpup wins on being shorter, lighter and feeling much better in your hand.
The triggers are good enough on both.

I only wish my bullpup stopped leaking, hopefully that will be soon.

I watched the video and looked at the specs on the Defensor web page:

According to the video the barrel thread is M14x1 just like airsoft guns.
I really do not think there is a working shroud.
Therefore you need an M14x1 moderator.
I have no idea why they did not include a working shroud.
This is the main reason (lack of sound moderation) I am not considering buying this, and I already have too many rifles.

My black rifle arrived yesterday. First imprssion, this is MUCH nicer than I really expected. I expected a ton more polymer, surprised that the only real non-metal I see is the pistol grip, the fore grip and the butt pad. I thought the velcro cheek pad was a nice touch. My box arrived with only a small indentation on the inside lid from the bolt handle. Bolt is solid, no play I could really detect, as with others, the trigger is meh. I suspect I get to get inside and work on it. Thanks to those who have already shown the way. No chance to shoot it yesterday, aired it up to 20 MPa, left it overnight, holding steady.

I put a Monstrum Ruckus with the BDC reticle on it, since I suspect I will be doing more positional shooting with it.

Very pleased so far.

My bullpup stll leaks.
It went from 250 bar to 170 bar overnight.
This is after adding silicone oil through the fill probe and shooting it down 4-5 times.
I took off the stock, checked various parts and could not find anything wrong.

It will be returned to Pinty but I will buy another one since I like it.

You guys suck.....now I have the bullpup on my list to purchase. I'll wait until my replacement arrives for the P-force rifle. I currently have my video scope on my Blitz and the darn thing needs wheels now. :) The lightweight P-force and it should work well together. My replacement should have shipped by now and arrive this week.

I took my P-FORCE barrel assembly out and on the part the cocking devise rides on it was very rough and grooved like a record. I put it in a drill and used very fine sand paper to smooth it then placed o ring synthetic lube inside the cocking devise where the o rings are. My P-FORCE now cocks very smooth with no binding. All barrels may not be the same but very easy to do.

Thanks man! That's exactly what I was thinking it needs. Great to learn of your success. Rather reminds me of buying Keltec PB's. Great guns if the owner applies the finishing touches that allowed the factories low pricing. My Beeman 2028 exhibits much the same tho it is much better with use. I find it rather fun to buy a product for about 1/2 of AF pricing and applying those finishing touches myself. Very satisfying. In the world of Keltec PB's we called it a fluff and buff.

The crazy winds finally let up a little this afternoon and I was able to finally zero the QM23 Bullpup at the 16 yard fence line with the 18 gn Apolo Air Boss pellets. Once that was complete, I could consistantly hit the head of push pins at that range (with my 2 MOA Sig Romeo 5 red dot optic). Next I tried some H&N Baracuda 21 gn pellets and they shot just as well if not slightty better than the Apolos. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny, low wind and about 57 degrees for a high so off to the WMA I will go with the Bullpup in hand. More to come...
