Super easy. Cost depends on the blank used. I can get a really good shooting QB barrel and it's maybe $100 shipped TJ, LW or similar it's over $200

I know there are versions of this in .25, do you think there is enough gas to make it a decent .30 ? I have barrels in the .20 and .22 calibers also

The valve tophat only measures .312 on mine. You'd have to replace that and bore the cocking lug and add new larger orings on the .22 but probably not on the .25. Ran a string over the chrono using JTS 18.1 pellets. The gun can use some adjusting but I want to wait until I get the HP BBT mold tomorrow. That will be my go to ammo for this gun so I'll want to tune it to those slugs.

I ran some strings with my cast slugs.
I have not done anything but put a bit of preload on the hammer spring. I ran the slugs through my smallest sizer .2165 and got these numbers, and showing excellent accuracy.
BBT in tin 19gr. 805 fps
24gr cast cup point 710 fps
29gr BBT Lead 690 fps

Graph doesn't do it justice. 67 shots at a 14fps ES is hard to get in any rifle of any price point.

Yep, I know. Those series of back to back duplicate numbers were fun to watch and hear come out of the tablet. She sounded like a record skipping. lol
But still, I think I can make it better. What was even better was seeing every one of the shots go into a hole the size of a squirrel head at 35 yds.
And those pellets weren't as accurate as the slugs.
I like this gun... can ya tell?

I got a little behind but shipping out the ordered M14 to 1/2-20 adapters today. Still a few left and another 5ft long aluminum rod left to make another 30 or so more.

Ordered in some 10" black anodized aluminum tubing. With this I can offer a functional shroud and tensioner for the P-Force that deletes the front bushing and converting it to a 1/2x20 on the front for even more Hush Hush at the same time.

Poured, tumbled and weighed a couple hundred NOE 217 30 FN/HP BBT 4 cav slugs this morning from the new mold after testing some samples.

I still need to set up the mill to cut the slots you see drawn with marker but then it's just removing the front bushing and screwing on the functional shroud plus your favorite mod. 14x1mm to 1/2x20 plus 10" of functional shroud. Very quiet. I have a similar setup but I've drilled the valve larger and shooting 25gr slugs at 920 and still backyard friendly with the shroud and mod. There's an o'ring that goes inside the bottom cap you don't see in pic 4. I forgot to install it before taking the pic. That seals the rear of the shroud to the barrel so you don't feel backwards pressure and it only adds a few inches to the length. I'll be blueing the visible edges of the aluminum cap so it looks like it's a factory accessory.

The entire shroud system weighs less than 3oz. And you'll feel less since you no longer have the front bushing weight or front screws.

Did you use some sort of bracket to ensure the correct angle or just freehand it?
I think I will be tackling mine in the not to distant future.

Do you end up resizing these at all?
I cast and resized a bunch of bullets in my Seneca Recluse that shows up today, I like the idea of casting .22 slugs for this and my Hatsan 95.

Nope, never resized anything. Bare in mind, these don't shoot well in all my .22 guns but the P-Force really likes them.

I clamped the sear in a vice and could use both hands to steady, take light layers off adjust as needed.
