Airforce Ring-loc Valve

Not a Condor but a Talon-P. They share the same valve from the factory. They are a must have in my opinion. A very usefull tool to help tune a AF gun. If you want MAX power stick with the valve you have. If you want tp play with different calibers, tune for efficiency, high power and so on get the ring-loc.

My Talon-P is a .20cal.it shoots 15.9g at an average of 825fps for 45 to 50 shots from 3000 to 1500. And thats on the pistols tiny bottle. Smallest top hat (.07) and the power wheel turned way down gave me 570 fps in .177 for who knows how many shots. I stopped counting at 100 and kept shooting. With the original .25 barrel I played with settings a little but then my other barrels showed up.

The ring loc kit should just come with the gun in my opinion. This is an essential accessory for sure, makes my talon p more interesting to shoot. I think what makes the Air Force platform so cool is that you can easily change anything with simple tools, and this is a natural extension of that flexibility.

I spend a lot of time shooting in my garage and using the smaller valve caps works great for tuning the gun down and getting more shots at lower energy.

I am guessing the ring lock valve caps will not work on the talon tunes top hat unless it has a ring loc mechanism

I have both the factory rimlock valve is way better by a mile from the tt top hat..better design the steam is wider inside than the tt top hat...be aware that the rimlock comes in talon version and condor version .. AND THEY ARE NOT THE SAME .. hole in the spring retainer is bigger - the spring is a bit wider because of that n the black piece that holds the steam is completely different in the condor version..I found it more accurate n easier to tune ..

I have a newer Condor SS purchased 10/23. I just measured the inner diameter of my valve cap and it’s .232in, the same spec as the largest profile in the Ring-Loc kit description.

“The Ring-Loc™ Valve Pin Kit includes multiple valve cap orifice sizes in .232, .166, .145, .123 and an .070 that shooters can modify themselves for their own energy level setting.”

I guess there is no point ordering this kit for mine unless I want to tune down.
