Airforce Talon

I have a Talon, have had it for a couple of years now. Great gun, I wish I had looked at them before buying two Marauders. The gun is simple, rugged and reliable. It will also out shoot the two Marauders I currently own. For a gun having only a 10 in barrel tucked away in a pretty efficient shroud, the gun is amazingly accurate. It easily puts 5 shots onto a penny at 25 yards with CPHPs. It doesn't seem to like the JSBs much. The only thing I did to it that isn't stock was to add the Condor hammer weight. It seemed to stabilize the velocity very well. Great guns, rugged, reliable, easy to tinker with and if you have the money and time, you can have several guns off of one platform. Can't say enough good about them. I'm selling both of my Marauders to get a Condor. They are THAT good.

Something else I really like about the Air Force guns is that they are made here in the United States. The woman at AF, when I was thinking of upping the power on mine by replacing the tank valve with a Hi Flow set up was wonderful She told me what I needed and got the parts rounded up and sent to me in a timely manner with a smile. Great customer service.

I have to agree with Jamie
See ------- I put off ever owning any Airforce gun because all the negative I have read.... and not only here ... may I add.
I needed a lighter more manageable rifle in the hills and really did not want a bull pup.
I came across a deal online and considered the Talon but I stayed away from the very lowered priced Talon...
I mentioned to Jamie one day about it being on clearance..... Jamie recommended and told me I would love it....
Holy smokes..... I got the darn thing and feel in love.... I have many guns and seem to like the single shot Talon the most...
As mentioned in another thread...... For some reason there are many that dislike the AirForce rifle....
I also want a Condor .... now that I have this Talon....
I must say the single shot does not bother me at all....... in fact while hunting.... it makes me a better shot...
I have gotten many squirrels with this gun ... in fact got one this morning with it........
I have not tried the Talon over forty yards... but why it only has a 12 inch barrel no sense pushing it... I have other guns to do the longer range shots...

You will see below a five shot group at 35 yards ........in .25 caliber... need I say more...
