Airforce airforce talonP

I am back with a new PCP, I just picked up an airforce talonP. its a sweet little gun so far, im really enjoying it so far. so here's the question. what stupid mods should I do to it. im open to anything, adding a reg and plenum, long barrel, caliber change, anything. the gun already kinda looks goofy so why not embrace that and make it look really goofy while keeping its functionality. let me know what you guys are thinking. Im at work a lot so I won't be to active here but ill check in periodically to see what's up. lets build the "ultimate" TalonP!

thanks guys!

I get that, I have a 1-6 on it right now and it's an absolute blast. definitely leaning towards a bigger bottle tho I will say that.
You didn't mention caliber.

My .20 is tuned to 20 shots starting at 2200 psi and ending at 1750 psi. That's a nice easy top off for the compressor and you could hand pump that really easy.

Think about it before you go with the big bottle and add that weight. It's not a bench gun until it weighs another three or four pounds...

Fight the urge.

I’ll be the argument for modding your TalonP, don’t listen to those other guys 🤣🤣
Adding a Maddog stock is one of the best mods for any AirForce gun, not totally necessary but huge improvement over stock.
Added larger Condor bottle to mine for increased shot count and Ronin moderator, have since changed to STO Falx moderator.

now this is what I was waiting for. I understand it's a good gun for its indended purpose but cmon, there's so much that can be done to the little guy. I really like that stock, I'll have to look for it.

Nice looking rig. All that matters is that it do the intended job and you are happy.

+1 on the Maddog stock. It really transformed mine into a much more enjoyable gun to shoot.

I also added a 100cc larger paintball bottle to give me more shots per fill. A little grip tape on the bottle helped a lot too.

The light is so that I can see the raccoons in the chicken pen at night.

You could use a 480cc carbon bottle..that are usually cheap these days n still will be a light gun , but you will need a adapter to upgrade the bottle treads on your valve are not standard.. a wokguard from talon tunes so you could change the grip to you like..factory one really sucks at least for me .. that will be enough to enjoy as is and after you have tried other guns if you still convinced that you like the platform then you could go nuts modifying.. money goes fast modifying and no body buys expensive AF.. me I like them I have 4 that have been with me for 8 years just purchased one more .. I enjoy simpler guns that I could modify to my liking and not having to ship to US for repairs.. but I also have regulated magazine guns for when I don't feel like single loading..

yeah I get what you're saying for sure, I have a Benjamin akela and a handful of break barrels, lately ive only been grabbing the talonP. im enjoying how simple it is and how rigid the whole system is. only time will tell tho, lets see if I still like it after I order an FX Maverick...:)

i put a condor high flow 490cc tank and valve on mine,
PA part# PY-A-4126
best mod you can do along with a DFL adapter for a STO faux moderator.
i have it tuned for 66fpe as a hog hunter.
i like it !! 🤘View attachment 423017
One of the best things about Airforce air guns it that it is easy to mix and match parts from other AF guns and end up with a jewell like yours.
They are almost like a blank canvas waiting for something to be created on.

does your talon p have the numbers on the screw head to know what power setting you are at or is blank? not the wheel the screw head section
