Airforce Airforce Texan .457 original

I have the original Texan it’s only got at most 2 dozen shots through it I started having an issue with the safety sticking I contacted Air Force they said make sure the forearm was not to tight or loose I did that went to the range still the same issue when I got the safety off first shot was no air pressure just a clink sound. Any idea on what is wrong with this gun?

Yes I have had the same problem twice on my new CF 510 Texan. The action binding ...Airforce will change out all internal parts...I think the problem on mine ultimately was a super rough barrel. Big pieces of lead blow into action and bind things up....I had to ultimately fix mine myself after drama with Airforce. Check your forearm screw,,if its too long no good... My Texan came with forearm screw too long when I received mine... So forearm screw first. I ended up hand lapping my barrel with lead laps...Know with smooth uniform barrel.most of my problems gone. Little pieces of lead cause big problems inside action.... Here to help

Mannnnnn, I honestly think I am just to return for a refund. I am new to airgunning and just want a product out of the box I do not have to modify. I have contacted airforce airguns before and got a couple return emails but then silence. I am not saying anything negative about a company, just my experience! Thanks for the input!
I think this is more common of a problem than what people think.. Wish you luck with your return friend..

I had something similar with my Condor. The safety and/or trigger would get stuck and/or it wouldn't cock right. Eventually I removed the auto-safety metal piece (video on youtube), so now I still have a safety and it works much smoother. It is easy to bugger up the frame removing the pins, so be careful!
My wife's stock CondorSS works smooth as butter, but she won't let me shoot it. It looks like a newer design.
