Now that doesn't mean you can't find a free one in the retail channel, because the retail vendors may have ordered guns that are not yet spoken for, but it is an extremely good start for a production gun. Good for them!
I am not surprised. AirForce has one of the most loyal and enthusiastic fan bases in the airgun world. And, from what I have heard, the Texan has lived up to the hype. I was particularly impressed that the gun's fill pressure was 3000psi; very LOW for an airgun shooting at 400-500fpe. It speaks to the quality/ingenuity of their valving.
Hey, Ted, why don't you ask the guys over at airforce to send you a gun to review? I've been waiting for you to do a review ever since I got my condor ss! On another note, I would wait to jump on the Texan bandwagon, wait until the guys at TAG get their hands on a few and take it apart. They will have the gen 2 developed when most people still are unboxing theirs . But a .357 Texan would make a wicked coyote gun!
