I recently posted in the classifieds to sell all my airguns, scopes, ammo, etc and it will not all sell. I want to donate the rest to some youth shooting program. I asked my local BSA Troop and they are uncomfortable taking anything with the word "gun" in it. I looked online and thought CMP might take donations but didn't find anything on that. Any suggestions on how to get my stuff to some kids who want to learn how to shoot, compete, etc.?

Do you have a local 4H chapter? Around here they have an active air gun and small bore PB shooting program for youths.

Don't know much about the current BSA program... But there used to be merit badges for shooting. Didn't use airguns though. I also think checking in with 4H would be a good idea.

I recently donated my Great Granddaughter's Challenger to the AFJRROTC at her former High School.. Depending on what you are trying to donate, most are limited to .177 at 10 Meters.
