Airgun Hunting/ Cold Weather Camping/ Pics and video

Decided to get away and do some hunting in the remote mountains. Marley and my good friend Matt spent two days enjoying some very rugged territory, we hunted, camped and cooked under fairly primitive conditions. Enclosed are some photos and a video of our experience, hope everyone is staying healthy and safe!!

I call them all rabbits, the Jackrabbits are in fact hares. They live entire life above ground and get water source from plants they eat, lifespan isn't very long and they thrive in hot deserts where others would die. European hares and Snowshoes are much larger, but for the most part have more fatty meat and are best for eating I think. Habit wise these are very different animals as they do go underground and do need a water source. The Cottontail "rabbit" are obviously smaller but the meat is less lean and easier to cook. The Jackrabbits have more meat on backstraps and hind legs than a cottontail, almost 3 times as much. People say Jackrabbits aren't good to eat, it's a myth in my opinion..(only been eating them for 30 years, what do I know) haha. It all depends on how you cook them. They have a much more game taste..if done right that can be removed and it's similar to Chicken. Hopefully this may answer the question in better detail.

Yes it's a beautiful place, hippie season is almost in full swing so place might be busy. I'm sure the virus may keep the place less active as usual though.
