Airgun moderators and the 3 letter organization

I can get as far as "Select Country" in the shipping dropdown and it stalls.

Too bad too, I need an FX/DonnyFL mod.
I went back and it changed to the international site or I didn't see it which is a great possibility. The .com site has no mods. BUT the International site has this...Effective immediately, we will only be shipping airgun moderators to our authorized dealers. This means that individual customers will no longer be able to purchase airgun moderators directly from our website. We encourage our customers to reach out to their local dealers to inquire about purchasing our airgun moderators. Our authorized dealers have been trained to provide the highest level of customer service and support, and will be able to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have about our products. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we thank you for your understanding and continued support.

TOPGUN has them in stock so I'm assuming that others do.

None of this supports the assumption that they have settled the court case. If there was a court case and it was settled surely Donnie FL would be selling directly on his website or at least say as much on his website. So I'm not going to go with the court case is settled. You know what they say about assume.

I'm going go disagree, based on the fact that they are for sale through air gun dealers and NOT having to get a tax stamp and register it. It's a slim point because we all know that just because it says Air Gun Use ONLY doesn't mean diddly to those that want it on a Pew Pew. They are still solid metal construction not plastic so they can be used, illegally, on Pew Pew's on say something like a 300BLK running subsonic's.

id agree with slim point .. anyone can duct tape a mountain dew bottle to their pb in a pinch, but dont get caught ... if one has said mountain dew bottle stuffed with rags and powder residue along with a roll of tape, and has a pb 'not good' for said possesor of that little collection if for ANY reason they get in a situation that their stuff is looked at ... same goes for an 'airgun moderator' ... one had better not have that cute little adapter they picked up on ebay that fits it to their pb .. not even in the toolbox out in the garage, if they get searched for ANY reason, maybe completely unrelated .. that gung-ho agent knows exactly what that is .. (and i wouldnt have a pb a mod fits on without a stamp) get caught or they can tie them together, now your in and out of court for god knows how long and its gonna cost ya ... keep your nose clean youll be ok .. way i see it ...

I thought we were trying to decide whether or not Donnie FL had settled his court case... Let me go back and look at the topic of this thread....
...
Oh okay. The court case that is frequently cited is the latest information I have heard from anyone on the status of air gun moderators with respect to the Alphabet org. I don't think that has changed.

Some PBs are threaded 1/2 x 20 UNF. So ... that's not going to be enough to prove intent in court.

I have a .22 Buckmark with a threaded barrel. I make moderators for airguns. Care to take odds on the probability that I am going to put one on that Buckmark without getting a stamp first? My absolute intention is to obey the law. That is FIRST PRIORITY every thing else is a distant second. But it IS reasonable to believe the legal system would SPANK the Alphabet org if they came to my house and using the information I just cited tried to prosecute me. I don't even know what the thread pattern on that barrel is and I have NO INTENTION of even trying to find out.

The reason I got a threaded barrel? Would you believe I did not care about that? I just wanted a 4" round barrel because it fit my leather better. I did not know the barrel I ordered was threaded till I opened the package. Oh well. If I ever decide I want it suppressed, I will go get my stamp and then get one for it. This ain't rocket science but think about THIS for a moment. If the adapter is proof of intent then why isn't a threaded barrel? Those are sold over the internet all the time and nobody looks sideways at that.

Most of these guys (agents) are not bad guys. Every now and then one comes along who needs a judge to give him a spanking. They usually get it or are smart enough to avoid it by making the discrete choice. A few years ago my brother (now passed) and his wife went through a nasty divorce. She got to tramping around with a guy up in Maryland who had a security clearance and friends at Alphabet org. Brother was a convicted felon. Boyfriend sent a couple of Alphabet org agents from the Baltimore office down to talk to brother to intimidate him. I met them at the door with him. We went to a restaurant and had a snack. We explained what the boyfriend was doing. They were right pissed last I saw them. It is a 5 hour drive from BMore to that restaurant. Last I heard OPM was asking for statements from boyfriend. I guess they weren't happy to hear he was a pot head.

poop happens.

Most agents are reasonable honest folks, not all but most.

I'll keep this simple. The US Government bureaucracy has gotten way too large. There are many agencies whose purpose no longer exists or what does could be aligned with another agency. The Bureau of Land Management and the Alphabet org are just some obvious examples. Their existence threatens our personal freedom as they are continuously looking to make their existence relevant

Mean while on Sniper's Hide, here's how Donny FL moderators are being discussed by a member...
