Airgun owners vs firearm owners

I’d say it depends on location. I live in a fairly rural setting so firearms and air arms are good to go. If I lived in my former location it would have to airguns only. Another issue currently is the cost of ammo. I noticed recently at our club that the old timers were switching over to airguns for their 50 and 100 yard shooting. Not just .177 and .22 either….25 cal and .35 cal airguns.

Got a standard and a Cold Steel big bore airgun. I did make one a long time ago from a straight section of some kind of sapling.I split it down the middle and then carefully hollowed each half and bound it back together. I took bamboo skewers and cut a notch at the back end and twisted cotton around to make darts. Worked well enough for S&G!
