Greats deals! These prices are better than secondary market prices! Would also be perfect for guys wanting to get into the hobby. Get yourself a Marauder, then a scope and hand pump. Have a nice set up for about 500 bucks!
Im going to see if I have any fiends to pressure into the hobby 🤣🤘

I'm checking on the Benjamin bulldog m357 but I'm confused as in the description it listed as 457 under the 357 and had a 3 shot tray.. not looking for a 457.. does anyone know the difference in the original 357 and the m357? looks like it has a extended air tube.. so will it get more shots than the original one or did they up the power?

@markhooper With the M357 they upped the power. The most noticeable difference between the m357 and the .357 Bulldog is the extended air tube on the M357. I believe the port size is larger, hammer spring is stiffer, and the charging handle is sturdier on the M357. There’s also a reinforced brace at the but within the clamshell stock of the M357 so it is heavier. No 3-shot tray on either iteration of the .357. It’s the same 5-round mag for both. If you have questions about the listing I advise you to call Rich at Airgun Revisions. He tends to respond in good time.

I'm wondering if the m357 can be turned down to what the original 357 was and be able to get more shots? from what you are saying it seems like it is better than the original one with the better cocking lever and the extended air tube, especially since if I was going to get the original a few years ago I was going to get the bulldog air tube for more shots, not really interested in more power and just a few shots but it's why I didn't buy the original one because it would have been a lot of money with the additional pitbull air tube and regulator.. I was not interested in turning up the power and it is why I didn't try to get the new m357 because it only said 5 shots and then this one from airgun revisions I really got confused because I thought like you said it had a 5 shot magazine..
thank you so much for the reply.. I'm going to PM airgun revisions since I have to get busy..I suppose they will get back to me next week..

@markhooper He’s really more responsive to phone calls. As for tuning the M357 down, I can’t speak to that. I have never thought about it. I have a specific .357 Bulldog for that. I wouldn’t regulate either of them. They don’t need it for my style of hunting. I’m only going to take two - three shots at the most

thank you so much for your input.. it's not that I specifically wanted regulated, but I just wanted a decent amount of shots per fill..I understand that it is a large caliber but so are the airforce texan and like 308&357 according to what I saw get 10-15 shots per fill unregulated.. then there's the umarex gauntlet sl30 and it's of course only 30 caliber and it is regulated and gets around 20+ shots..
3-5 shots per fill for target shooting would be a lot of fills..

Lol!!!!!!!! I changed it. My bad, go look again.
You can’t tune an m375 down easily unless your spending some money.
To keep it unregulated it needs the transfer port choked down like the gen1 and that’s not easily done without machine work. REASON, the TP on the M is one size from valve to barrel. Shouldering needs to be machined into the gun.
The other way is regulating. This does not consist of only a regulator you also need a way to fill the gun from the front of the tube because you cannot fill from the backside of a regulator. Yes this way gets expensive.
The gun can be done yes but no matter how you look at it you’re gonna be spending money with an Airgunsmith.
FYI you cannot tune this gun properly just by hammer alone. Backing off or changing the hammer spring is just gonna give you a larger bell curve. This was the reasoning for choking the GEN one on the transfer port.

thank you, you explained it very well.. what you are describing about the regulator sounds like the pitbull regulator kit.. and yes that's very expensive..
so does it have a transfer port insert? or did they machine the transfer port as just a larger opening? if the older model has a insert is the insert still available? from your description sounds like it is not just a different port being installed..
so I am also curious if there's any pictures to see the difference between the original and the m model as far as the transfer port..
I have my own machine shop but not a lot of time and I don't have all tooling, especially for metric threading.. but sounds like it might be something I could do..
I already shortened my notos to air tube length and put a permanent moderator inside the shroud and a very nice crown.. so now it's 16" overall..

PS..
also reminded me,is a lighter hammer spring, similar to the original one available?? that way between a smaller transfer port and the lighter spring it could end up around the same power as the original one but more shots with the full length air tube..
any idea what the difference in volume of the original one vs the new air tube is? and about how many shots could be expected? like is the new model double the volume or such..
you probably don't have a original one and available air tube for the new one that I could make a hybrid from?
thank you
