Events Airgunners of Arizona FT match near Flagstaff AZ on Sat June 15th

I'm not any sort of club leadership but just wanting to share about this upcoming match. The guys that run these matches have been doing it for so long that it's just a given for them that these matches happen. They send out email reminders to those that have attended in the past. I'm simply posting this for anybody perhaps interested and unaware of them.

Really fun AAFTA field target matches. A handful of us camp for a night or two on these weekends and it turns into lots of shooting.

Theyre not invitational matches, if you're interested, come. Camp. Shoot. Have fun.

And Kent confirmed that he's doing silhouettes on Friday evening for anybody there already. Sub 20 fpe so use your ft gun and shooting position.

Hopefully the forest service doesn't close down the woods for fire danger. 🤞 🤞 🤞

Well, thanks for posting this, Cole.

We usually post it the week prior to the match for all the members and for those on the mailing list. The reminder will go out tomorrow.

My knees still will not let me shoot the match, but I have lost almost 40 lbs. Not interested in anyone cutting on my knees. That being said, the crew of Barry, Van, and Kent will set a challenging course.

We have 5 separate match directors for our TRAC (Tuesday Retired Airgun Challenge) matches at BASF. They can say what they want about "shooting on a parking lot", but the big challenge is that wind, and the biggest GODsend is that covered firing line. BRIGHT sunshine, or the occassional rain storms are no problem for us. We shoot regardless and enjoy it immensely......and the membership is growing in spite of that!

Cole, you would have been a great club secretary, especially with your enthusiasm. I miss shooting with you, but who knows, if my knees are feeling "normal", you may just see me at one of the Mormon Lake matches this summer. I will continue to shoot springer down here in the valley, and PCP if I head north.

Thank you for thinking of us.
Mark
