Quick video of part of the crows shot over the weekend. Six down in this clip. It was reasonably quick action with no pauses in recording between the four birds in the middle (excluding #1 & #6). Ended the morning with well over 40 on the ground.

First one flew about 40 yards before folding. The others didn't go so far before taking a rest.
Sorry for the shakiness...Freehanding the Maverick with Pulsar C50. Flinging .25 Crow Magnums at the reduced #4 setting.

Five of the six are about 30. The first one in the video was about 60 yards. Crow Magnums seem to have more "pop" than diablo style pellets. Would love to have an option of a heavy weight Crow Mag.

That is part of what was going on there. If you turn the volume way up you can hear them talking while circling the fallen. Occasionally another would perch to look down on the growing pile.

@SilentSquirrel That was a good deed. All of the crows in that video have been relieved of their concerns, grudges and worries.

That is a Jack Pyke flocked decoy out of Ireland/UK. I believe that style is out of production. It's on an extendable pole used for painting ceilings. Getting at least one up high really adds to the appeal. Also use bird cradles and dead volunteers for decoys.

Agreed, these crows seem curious as to why their comrades are lying on the ground motionless. Suspect these aren't heavily hunted. WM
