IMHO posting to the boards is an inadequate solution. I'd like to hear why a recall was not put into full swing.

It was said they knew about the problem; they ought to have contact information from the folks that bought the goods. So why not inform the customer about this dangerous part? Hearing loss is a big deal, and the least of what might have happened.

I realize stuff happens, but responsible people act responsibly when stuff happens. Frankly, I would need confidence in their ethics an QC before they ever find themselves on my short list.
