Nice to see more join the Caiman club !
I ended up buying both the Caiman and the Caiman X. Dumb story !
One thing I can say, for many of us owners, a different muffler is sort of a requirement to lighten the sound. Unfortunately, at least in my case, the original baffles don't quite do enough for my shooting.
I use a two segment Huma M40 on both of my Caimans. DonnyFL makes the adapter.
A little oil to lube the trigger parts, my Caiman needed a little trigger adjustment, my X did not. Nice thing, is you have a hole to pear through to be able to see the sear location/interaction. This way it's really easy to get the let-off that you want, easily. No need to buff, or polish anything, just set the sear pieces to a nice quick release, it's as good a trigger as most all, when adjusted well.
What else ?
I' did a bunch of red dot swapping to find what I really wanted. I put a Primary Arms SLx 3x Mini, on my Caiman, and a Holosun AMES green dot on my X model. Sticking with these for a while.
