Other Airmaks Krait vs Fx Leopard Bottle

I'm not FX fan .. but my experience with the krait was really crapy so I wouldn't get one not even for free.. the new FX with the uragan looking design would be my preferred choice, that one will certainly have power enough to do what ever build you want..Epic ONE in .25 is a great choice to .

What is your reason behind the dislike for Krait? Just curious.

My...experience with both the Krait AND the Krait Lite (both .22 cal.), have been very good. Maybe even exceptional.
I know nothing about a "Leopard" !

I'd say, if you want a gun...now...buy what's available...now ! Any "new" guns may be over any normal bank account balance, shortly .

I purchased new from the pellet shop the last model with the Huma reg , I personally ask for the gun to be tuned for 18gr at 920 . Because I don't like to work in guns, I work only in my AF .. the gun arrived shooting 18gr at 1040 and it doesn't matter where you got the hammer spring tension. Fps variation was over 80fps . Called those jokers at the pellet shop the warranty was with UTHA airguns . I Called but the mk4 regs where not aviable.. waiting was 3 months or more.. the joker at the pellet shop didn't tested the gun he just shipped or knew the problem and shipped anyway.. I had the L model .. the way the barrel is support inside the shroud is really a bad design that depending on what you are shooting is prone to bad harmonics. Aside from that really enjoy the ergonomics .

Krait .25 owner here ('L' model, 700mm barrel, with air tube). I haven't shot the gun much (too many airguns), but so far I have been impressed (as received and as tuned by UA. Although it was likely tuned for slugs and I shoot pellets).

With this gun it seems like 50 yards is just the starting point, and it really wants to stretch its legs further. I've played just a little with the hammer spring tension, and got the speed of FX 25.4 pellets down from the out-of-the-box 1,054 fps (with good accuracy) to 1,020 fps with great accuracy. Seems to like shooting those a little better than the heavy 33.95's. But then I haven't really taken any time tuning the heavies (at current tune they are running 922 fps).

So the Krait definitely doesn't lack for power in .25 cal (at least with the 700mm barrel), and is really rather nice to shoot.
