Airmaks moderator vs Huma

I’m in the market for another moderator for new Katran that on its way … Does anyone have any info on the airmaks mod? design ? Or should I go with the huma mod 40? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated…. I couldn’t find the info I was looking for in regards to the airmaks , the website just says “for airguns only and 1/2 inch unf”.
The huma mod works great and the donny fl FX also works great. I use the .22 caliber mods for my .22 cal katran and experience ZERO clipping. If you go to a aize .25 it will be a bit louder

I had the Airmaks mod on my Katran .25 LB when I received it. Changed it out for an STO Falx High flow and found it to be noticeably quieter. Wife noticed, too. Just a dull thump now. I put the Airmaks mod on my Caiman X .22 and it suits it well for noise output.

Nice setup! What adapter did you use for the bipod?

I don't have an AirMaks but DID replace the FX oem reg in my Boss with a HP Huma. BEST thing I ever did for the gun. Power, accuracy & shot count through the roof. Highly recommend their regs!
I believe the katrans and krait come with the huma regs, at least mine definitely shows consistent regulator work. Neither of my fx's have ever shot as consistently speed wise, but that could also be due to using the new AEA ammo.

Thanks, it's just a small Airmaks keymod to picatinny adapter that Utah AG sells. $30! It was sent to me by mistake instead of a UIT adapter (Caiman stuff) so they let me keep it.

The Katran is a smooth operating and accurate rifle.14 shots at 35yds with the Arken Zulus.
