AirMarksman 110/12v Portable Air Compressor Issue

I am having a low voltage error coming up on this compressor. If I put a dead head plug in it and set the compressor to 300bar it will start doing its thing and cut off at about 240 bar and then come up with the low voltage error. While the compressor is pumping up the voltage meter is bouncing around all over the place. Any help appreciated.

It's maybe 4 years old but might have less that 2 hours on it
