I been searching hunting forums and this forum to see if anyone knows about hunting spots or secret spot to hunt like squirrels, birds or any invasive species in the Tampa area with an airsoft rifle. If you know of any spots I’d appreciate the info

Airsoft is used for pesting in areas where any collateral damage is unacceptable. BBs shatter on impact with hard surfaces but will easily penetrate the chest of a pigeon, squirrel, or other small pests.Airsoft? Are you serious… Am seriously hoping you meant an Airforce PCP. i used to airsoft. if you’re saying .3 gram bb at 750 fps, i think it’s possible to kill a pidgeon with a headshot out to 20 yards. from what i remember, 750 fps with an airsoft gun is pretty hard to accomplish and i don’t know if pneumatic systems can achieve it nowadays. i can see those biodegradable 6mm airsoft bbs shattering on impact but still leaving a small dent on surfaces like cars panels.
a 30 gram bb going 750 fps is a 472.971 grain bb going 750fps.. bruh

For someone who JUST joined you seem to have a pretty antagonistic attitude. My 1st reaction to reading the title of your post was the same! Airsoft is definitely NOT meant for ETHICAL hunting! by technicality, yes.. there are pneumatic, spring, motor driven cylinder and piston setups.
but for hunting, i dont think it anywhere near “humane”. dead is dead, but from what i remember, airsoft’s are regulated to 1.5 joules muzzle energy for semi, might be 2 joules for single shot spring snipers, 1 joule for auto.
it’s expensive to get a gun over those numbers and requires a lot of mods and chances are they aren’t allowed for gameplay in the U.S.
a notos is cheaper versus modding an airsoft gun to shoot those numbers, heck some airsoft guns cost 400-500$ stock at 1.5 joules.
