A tip of my cap to @AlkinCompr!

Near the end of filling a couple tanks Sunday, the black filler plug atop the first stage pressure gauge gently popped off. Completed the fill with no problems & the gauge still showed the correct pressure, but was now fogged a bit.
Sent an email to Alkin Sunday night explaining, & to ensure the plug popping off wasn't indicative of a bigger issue (it wasn't... simple gauge failure). Aydin replied before 9am Monday morning that they'd be sending me a new gauge. Had a tracking number by noon & it'll be here tomorrow.

Quality high pressure compressors aren't cheap, but the W31 Mariner has been worth every penny I paid for it considering how much HPA I use! Good feeling to know it's also backed by great service.

Yep, those guys are awesome. True, you pay a premium, but they provide premium service to their customers for sure. You definitely get what you pay for. My Alkin is by far the best investment I've made in this hobby.

I hear ya, it's a big investment for sure. Wanted one for years before I was able to swing it.

Not one to tell others how to spend their money, so I won't, but...

If you've been in this hobby for some time, don't see an end in sight, and can at some point dedicate the funds- very little chance you'll regret the purchase of a "dive" quality compressor like the W31.

I had the exact same experience with my Alkin. Absolutely terrific service. It is one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Indeed. Noticed that the price for a gallon of Anderol 755 for oil changes has gone up from $99 to $128 as well.

Alkin for sure big money but if your in the sport its well worth it.
I lucked out 10 or 15 years ago and bought a Shelden compressor, Wasn't cheap but there really was nothing else on the market, When you got high end guns you just can not cheap out on the air,

To close the loop on this one- gauge arrived yesterday, removed the failed one & replaced wrench tight, all is well .

BTW if anyone is wondering, their gauges are Wika.
