Oh, ok. Degassed to lower the Pressure. Yes. So Confusing.

For the record I have no idea what your first post is conveying either. It is very confusing. For example, what do you mean by adjusting the "Valve screw"? And when lowering a reg setting there needs to be zero pressure, not "put the pressure lower like it was before". And now you have air escaping from where exactly, where is the Valve screw?

right, just checking, On my first talon air rifle I didn't realize there was a grub (read the instructions next time) screw and almost ruined it by rotating the ring on the tank.

Well, it's back to square 1 again. Put the new Oring in and it still leaks at the base of the Regulator. Waiting for a call back from Air Venturi. Disappointing. Oh well.

Really should only put in the rated pressure that the air tank holds... As soon as you start over presurising things, that when things break.

Are you turning the right screw? I know it's a dumb question but it has happened.

Yes. One is an allen to remove the pressure, the reg itself is still leaking after the new o ring.
