How far are you looking to shoot coyotes? For a few hundred less you could do the sidewinder.I am looking at the dynamic in 30cal for coyotes in 600mm shooting slugs but for 2400 not worth it. I can can get a rattler for a few hundred more

Well the problem is am left handed and had a buddy that did some tuning on the mini and he's lefty as well and said it is not comfortable because the mag sticking out to far and have to watch your cheek. He said as a left handed he wouldn't own one. The rattler the mag is more centered and he said it's doableHow far are you looking to shoot coyotes? For a few hundred less you could do the sidewinder.
Doable does not sound necessarily comfortable either. Why not go for a gauntlet .30, it's ambidextrous and the heavy griffins slugs seem to work, don't think you'd have a problem going over 110fpe.Well the problem is am left handed and had a buddy that did some tuning on the mini and he's lefty as well and said it is not comfortable because the mag sticking out to far and have to watch your cheek. I was researching that exact gun this morning. lol. For the money probably the best deal going. I would limit my shooting to probably 100yds for body shotsDoable does not sound necessarily comfortable either. I've thought about it as well, I just dont like how long it is lol. I deal with the length of my at44 only because of accurate it is, that and I only shoot it from my suv lol. Yeah that's what has kinda slowed me on it as well but for calling coyotes I usually use a 22-250 with a 27" barrel in a Remington 700 so it's not short eitherI've thought about it as well, I just dont like how long it is lol. Not sure how long that is but my at44 is about 52-53" with huma mod on lol. And again I only have it casue of the accuracy and because it is solid, I can bump it and it won't move, I can grab it by the barrel and my poin wont shift.Yeah that's what has kinda slowed me on it as well but for calling coyotes I usually use a 22-250 with a 27" barrel in a Remington 700 so it's not short either
I think for coyotes they are the perfect caliber. It just hammers them and so accurateI've been watching Matt dubber a bit too much cause I've been thinking about getting a 22-250 lol.
Good to know!I think for coyotes they are the perfect caliber. It just hammers them and so accurate
I average about 40-60 coyotes a year calling them during daylight and it's a pure hammer from 0-300yds. 52 grains sierra boattails at 3700fps.Good to know!
That's a lot of yotes, do you use a can?I average about 40-60 coyotes ayear calling them during daylight and it's a pure hammer from 0-300yds. 53 grains sierra boattails at 3700fps.
No sir I'd rather spend that money on powder, bullets, new mouth calls. I have just one can for 22lr. Some say it matters I hunt with buddies that use them and can't say they kill more because of it. Some will say it's a game changer for them but I've killed multiples on stand without one. To each his own but a can doesn't make you a better hunter. That's a lot of yotes, do you use a can?
Or a Vulcan 3 for 1k lessI am looking at the dynamic in 30cal for coyotes in 600mm shooting slugs but for 2400 not worth it. I can can get a rattler for a few hundred more
Yeah I have one Vulcan 3 in 22 that Derrick set up for me with 34 grain varmint knockers at 76fpe. It shoots 1" at 100yds all day with a full mag. In fact he has been telling me to get the Vulcan 3 in 30 cause he just tuned one for slugs and it got 3/8" groups at 50yds shooting 60 some grain slugs for about 112 fpe. I might do that because I want a little more thump.Or a Vulcan 3 for 1k less

I haven't shot a coyote yet with them but other things they do quite the job. I think the 22 is fine for head shots out to 100 but body shots I don't know. This is my first time trying to use air rifles for calling coyotes. I am having to compromise on distance and shop placement to make it ethical. That's why I was leading to the 30 with more energy to be able to do good heart lung shots at 100That’s awesome. Man I love the devastation of varmint knockers.
That's what I want. I'm trying to sell my impacy so I can get a vulcan 3 in .30. My impact is set up as a .30 with the 700mm barrel and it shoots phenominally. My issue is I can't help change barrels and tunes every couple of weeks, and I need something that is simply going to ground meYeah I have one Vulcan 3 in 22 that Derrick set up for me with 34 grain varmint knockers at 76fpe.
